ELS Hosts PKS Session with DAVIES Paints

On July 28, 2025, ELS successfully conducted another PKS session in partnership with DAVIES Paints Philippines, Inc.—a learning engagement aimed at strengthening technical understanding and supporting quality-driven project execution across our teams.

The session featured insightful discussions led by Mr. Sean Jermaine Chu and Ms. Runette Villarosa, who generously shared practical guidance grounded in field experience. Participants gained a clearer, more structured understanding of essential painting considerations—from foundational principles to common on-site concerns that can affect finish quality and long-term performance.

Key Topics Covered

During the session, the speakers tackled critical areas that help guide informed decision-making in project applications, including:

  • Paint basics and selecting appropriate systems for different requirements
  • Common paint problems and practical ways to prevent or address them
  • Proper surface preparation and why it is essential to performance and durability
  • Clear Do’s and Don’ts in Painting to support consistency, workmanship, and quality standards

ELS extends its sincere appreciation to DAVIES Paints Philippines, Inc. for sharing their expertise and for continuing to be a valuable knowledge partner in helping elevate technical competencies in the industry. We also recognize and thank Mr. Chu and Ms. Villarosa for taking the time to provide thoughtful, actionable insights that participants can apply to actual project environments.

We likewise commend our PMO Department for their meticulous planning and effective execution of this session—ensuring a well-organized platform for meaningful learning, dialogue, and professional development.

At ELS, we believe that project excellence is strengthened not only through systems and processes, but also through continuous learning and collaboration.
